Meeting Street is currently looking for a School Nurse (Per Diem).
Duties:
- Maintains the health and well-being of the students during the school hours for all daily issues as well as responding all emergency situations.
- Administers medications and performs nursing procedures ordered by the physician to be given during school hours including but not limited to G-Tube feedings, catheterizations, respiratory treatments, dialysis, dressing changes, wound care, trach care and suctioning, etc.
- Performs ongoing health status evaluations and medication/treatment reviews to identify health needs and potential problems.
- Documents all nursing care and changes in a students health status.
- Communicates timely updates to parents, teachers and therapy staff regarding health concerns or changes in the health status of the student.

Requirements
- Licensed RN in Rhode Island.
- Maintains current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification.
