Meeting Street Speech Language Pathologist in Providence, Rhode Island

Meeting Street is currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist for 40 hours per week.

Duties:

  • Provides formal and informal evaluation of functional capabilities of clients on assigned caseload Reviews results with clients and their families, as well as classroom staff, when indicated.
  • Develops and implements individual and ongoing treatment programs addressing specific goals with measurable outcomes and documented in the IEP.
  • Maintains written documentation of all evaluations, Individual Education Plan goals, treatment plans, progress notes and communication with doctors and families in accordance with agency formats, in a professional, compliant, and timely manner.
  • Participates actively, cooperatively, and constructively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provides instruction and guidance to ensure that the client's IEP goals are integrated into a comprehensive educational program.

Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree from an ASHA approved program.
  • Certified as a Speech Language Pathologist from Rhode Island Department of Education, or the ability to obtain.
  • Licensed as a speech language pathologist from the Rhode Island Department of Health.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid training.
