These are guest services staff positions needed on a part-time regular and seasonal basis at the Provo Peaks Ice Arena. Individuals interested in performing the duties described herein are encouraged to apply.

What is the compensation?

$10.00 - $13.00 per hour (depending upon skill level and experience) Payment will be by direct deposit.

What will I do?

  • Perform general duties in the following areas: admissions, concessions, and skate rental at the Peaks Ice Arena.

  • Assist other teams members as needed and perform other related duties as required.

What do I need to apply?

  • Any training and/or experience which would demonstrate an ability to perform the duties of the position.

  • Valid, lawful driver's license may be required at time of appointment.

What are the hours?

Up to 25 hours per week, between 6 a.m. and 1 a.m., Monday through Saturday (The majority of shifts are scheduled from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays.) Actual schedule will be set by the supervisor based on department need. Employee will also be expected to fill in for other staff as needed.

What are the physical and environmental factors?

This work requires walking, sitting, bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, and sitting for extended periods at a computer terminal.

What is the selection process? This is an open file posting. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted for any positions available at that time. They will remain on file for a minimum of 60 days. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications listed above to be eligible for consideration.

If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal. Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
