Plant Communications Coordinator Available Title(s): 450K-YYCSNPS - Plant Communications Coordinator Business Title: Plant Communications Coordinator Employee Type: Classified Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Plant Communications Coordinator operates the Central Telephone Switchboard for the Facilities Services Department. The incumbent receives repair and maintenance calls and work requests and refers to parties within the department. Prepares and expedites all work order requests, etc. Operates two-way radio communications. Produces multiple work management reports. Keeps department statistics/metrics Sunday - Friday; 11:00pm-7am Required Qualifications: • High School graduation or equivalent AND one year of experience in some aspect of shop related work to provide general familiarity with repair and maintenance activities; OR equivalent education/experience. • Ability to speak and understand English clearly. • Experience using computers. Preferred Qualifications: • One (1) year clerical experience.
