Position Overview

You will be part of a dynamic team at Autodesk Pune, India. We are looking for Engineers who love finding efficient, scalable and thoughtful solutions to a variety of technical and product challenges. As Software Development Engineer you will work to deliver top quality Web and Cloud software. You will report to Software Development Manager in a hybrid work mode.

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality, secure, reusable, maintainable, stable code for use in products and solutions for customers,

• Work with Product Owner and/or Product Manager/Team to understand and help refine functional requirements into high quality software components

• Proactively and continuously evaluate and address issues related to performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility of the systems 

• Break down a large problem into smaller components and provide a clear solution for each piece

• Design, analyse and document technical solutions, and sequence work to make fast, iterative deliveries and improvements

• Establish and uphold best engineering practices through code and design reviews

• Research external best practices and emerging technologies for possible incorporation into company products and methodologies 

• Write the code following Test-Driven-Design principle

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience

• 2+ years of experience as a hands-on front-end developer

• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript and must have a clear understanding of basic web fundamentals such as prototype-based inheritance, scopes, Event Loop, Memory Management in JS, etc. Should also have in-depth understanding of latest ES6 standards such as spread operators, arrow functions, etc.

• Write clean, efficient code, and be and debug any issues that may arise.

• Hands-on understanding of latest paradigms in Frontend Development such as Pub-Sub Pattern, State Management, Service Workers, Web Components, Client Caching, Lazy Loading, Dynamic Injection, Bundle Optimization, Reactive Design, Microfrontends, Module Federation

• Good exposure to writing UT's and designing UI components with testability in mind

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with frontend development technologies, such as React, Angular, Vue, Redux, State Management or equivalent

• Hands-on experience in building progressive and hybrid mobile & web applications applications

• Hands-on experience of CSS3 & HTML5

• Hands-on to quick scripting in postman to test Rest API's

• Hands-on experience with any one of Frontend automation framework like Cypress, Protractor, etc
