Job Description Keeps premises of office building, apartment, house, or other commercial or institutional building in clean and orderly condition. Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Sweeps, and scrubs floor. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts furniture and equipment. Washes windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Sweep and pickup trash on the parking lot and entrances or as specified by contract. Cleans all sinks, commodes, and mirrors. Maintain custodial equipment and supplies to ensure economical use thereof. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Prior custodial experience required. Ability to pass criminal background check. Valid drivers license required, and must be able to provide own transportation for travel between various work locations. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Judgment must be used if items weigh over 25 pounds. Additional Information Schedule is typically 5:00 pm to 12:00 am, but may vary slightly. Work will be at various locations in Putnam County, WV.
