Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk in FLUSHING, New York. The role involves handling data entry tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and efficiency. We operate in the telecom industry and are looking for someone who can quickly adapt to our proprietary software.

Responsibilities:

• Pulling information from various reports and entering the data accurately into our proprietary database.

• Ensuring the data entered is accurate and up-to-date.

• Responding to inquiries related to data entry tasks and resolving any issues promptly.

• Demonstrating proficiency in using our proprietary software after training.

• Paying close attention to detail to maintain the integrity of the data entered.

• Adapting to any changes in the data entry process and learning new procedures as necessary.

• Monitoring the database for any discrepancies and taking necessary action to correct them.

• Working in a team environment to meet data entry goals and deadlines.

• Upholding confidentiality and data privacy at all times.

• Demonstrating a commitment to the role for the long term. Requirements • Proficient in data entry tasks and related software tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Able to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision

• Excellent typing speed and accuracy

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Good command of English, both written and spoken

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly

• Capable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
