POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversee all aspects of vehicle documentations, including all internal reporting, E-Z pass/On-Street accounts, all Motor Vehicle transactions, and insurance documentation.
POSITION DUTIES:
Maintain, compile, compose, coordinate and distribute various confidential and non-confidential transportation information lists, reports and rosters pertaining to eligible drivers and vehicles
Assisting with ordering E-Z Pass Tags, and reporting monthly billing to proper departments
Responsible for the organization of the vehicle information files. Maintain original or copies of documentation pertaining to licensing, titling, DOT inspection schedules, NYS Emissions Inspections and registration renewals.
Establish and supervise the filing of trip logs; mechanics repair files, vendor files. Track trip logs for DOT inspections, creating and maintaining vehicle mileage usage reports, quarterly mileage usage, and submitting to finance team as requested.
Manages all documentation for Department of Motor Vehicle (D.M.V.) transactions; interact with D.M.V. in preparing paperwork for new, transferred, lost, destroyed, duplicate, or replacement items. Prepares documentation for newly purchased vehicles, transferred vehicles, and vehicles sold by CPA/CPT; coordinate all activity with insurance company; when necessary, personally process transactions to obtain results.
Oversee documentation for Insurance- acquiring new ID cards as needed
Oversees process for annual submission of On-Street Parking applications and highway permits for all applicable vehicles.
Perform all other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
2 years experience in a transportation environment with NYS DMV knowledge
Basic proficiency with a P.C. and Demonstrated communication skills
NYS Driver’s License
High School Diploma Required
Available for up to 1-2 weekend days per month on duty
