Our client, a global logistics and supply chain company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team in Springfield Gardens, NY. This candidate will support warehousing activities through the operation and driving of heavy equipment. This is a temporary opportunity.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Springfield Gardens, NY

Pay Range: $18 - 12:00 PM - 8:30PM

What’s the Job?

• Operate heavy equipment such as trucks and forklifts to handle and transport materials

• Handle materials and transport equipment within the facility area.

What’s Needed?

• Prior experience operating equipment and machinery in a transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing setting.

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

• If required, must possess or be able to obtain the necessary equipment operation certification or licenses.
