Estamos buscando a una persona con experiencia en Infraestructura de Red y Operaciones para nuestro Centro de Datos. El/la candidato/a trabajará con poca supervisión en un entorno dinámico para impulsar la estabilidad y la sostenibilidad de nuestras redes y desarrollar formas innovadoras de automatizar y escalar nuestra red a medida que nos expandimos.

Las responsabilidades del puesto incluyen: Instalar/Entregar/Operar red e infraestructura informática en varias ubicaciones, ser responsable de la gestión de capacidad y las operaciones del centro de datos, incluido el soporte de Break & Fix. Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con clientes y proveedores internos y externos para facilitar la ejecución de proyectos de manera eficiente y eficaz. De igual forma, las actividades diarias incluyen mejorar herramientas, desarrollar mejores prácticas y perfeccionar procedimientos operativos.

La persona ideal para esta posición es altamente autónoma, orientado/a a los detalles, posee sólidas habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita y tiene una experiencia en el soporte de redes de clase empresarial a gran escala. También cuenta con habilidades de implementación de infraestructura de red y resolución de problemas combinadas con una metodología de documentación.

Key job responsibilities

• Instalar y resolver problemas de hardware de red, compute, software y conectividad, todo esto combinado con una metodología de entrega de proyectos.

• Seguir los plazos establecidos, trabajar individualmente para garantizar la estabilidad y la sostenibilidad de la infraestructura y la red.

• Capacidad y disposición de levantar y/o mover posiblemente hasta 40 libras; y asistido con herramientas para más de 41 libras.

• Disponibilidad para cumplir con turnos de trabajo de hasta 12 horas seguidas, realizar rotación de guardia y brindar apoyo fuera del horario laboral según sea necesario.

• Trabajar con las mejores prácticas establecidas para refinar los procedimientos operativos, desarrollar nuevas herramientas y pensar en formas de mejorar los procedimientos y procesos actuales. Mejora continua.

• Realizar cableado, rotulado, certificación y parcheo de posiciones de servidor a equipos de red, además de inventario de herramientas, materiales y repuestos.

• Vendor management, supervisar a vendor en todas sus actividades, gestionar sus accesos, darle seguimiento a sus necesidad y lograr que se concreten los entregables en tiempo y forma.

• Administrar/actualizar el trabajo a través del sistema de tickets y flujos de trabajo.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience

• 1+ years of computer networking experience

• High school or equivalent diploma

• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure

• Bachelor's degree

• Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts

• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies

• Knowledge of server hardware and components

• English speaking
