Aston Carter Inventory Control Specialist in Racine, Wisconsin

Description:

This position is in charge of tracking inventory and stock changes. Responsibilities include:

  • overseeing inventory controls, verifying quantities of inbound shipments

  • performing daily/ weekly cycle counting, overseeing annual physical inventory processes

  • maintaining inventory transactions

  • Data entry will be done using an ERP system.

  • Processing all inventory transactions in a timely manner according to policies and procedures.

  • Ensure the warehouse and inventory control areas are kept clean and organized.

  • Verifying all inventory will be kept in its proper location and clearly labeled.

  • Resolves discrepancies or disputes concerning inventoried items, materials, parts, and components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Computer proficient with experience in Microsoft Office.

Strong work ethic and eye for detail.

Basic mathematical skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Ability to read and comprehend documents such as bills of materials and inventory records.

Ability to prepare reports on current inventory of critical production materials.

Ability to learn new management software for tracking shipping and inventory.
