Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC seeks Senior Scientist, Statistical Programmer (multiple openings) in Rahway, NJ to support statistical programming activities for clinical development projects. This may include leadership of one or more products. Develop and execute statistical study and report deliverables ranging from individual clinical trials to world-wide regulatory application submissions. Design and maintain statistical datasets that support multiple stakeholder groups. Collaborate with statistics and other project stakeholders in ensuring project plans are executed efficiently with timely and high-quality deliverables. Serve as statistical programming point of contact and knowledge holder through the entire product lifecycle. Develop effective study and report programming and validation utilizing global and Therapeutic Areas standards and following departmental SOPs and good programming practices. Maintain and manage a project plan including resource forecasting. Coordinate activities of a global programming team. Participate in departmental strategic initiative teams.LOCATION:Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC, 126 E. Lincoln Avenue, Rahway, NJ 07065REQUIREMENTS:Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or related. Bachelor’s degree in any of the above fields and 5 years of experience in the position offered or related also accepted. Experience must include 3 years in the following: SAS programming in a clinical trial environment, including data steps, procedures, SAS/MACRO, SAS/GRAPH, SAS systems and database expertise; designing and developing complex programming algorithms; comprehending analysis plans which describe methodologies to be programmed; applying clinical data management concepts; CDISC and ADaM standards; process compliance and deliverable quality; and developing analysis and reporting deliverables for Research and Development projects, including data, tables, graphics, and listings.SUBMIT RESUME OR CONTACT:Apply at https://jobs.merck.com/us/en.
