Essential Job Duties:
Primary purpose of position: The grant manager oversees the pre and post award grant process. They identify funding opportunities, write grant proposals, and ensure compliance with grant requirements. Additionally, the grant manage budgets, track expenses, and prepare financial reports.
Other Work/Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Creating budgets for proposals
Doing bill pay and monthly reconciliations in Post Award
assist the PI and grant teams on implementing programs and travel
Additional accounting and financial report duties specified by director
Required Qualifications:
Experience in UNC finance, grants and our unique systems (RAMSeS, ConnectCarolina, InforPorte).
