Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the bustling location of Rancho Dominguez, California. This role is within the accounting industry and will be based in a traditional workplace setting. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately post payments including checks, ACH, and credit cards.

• Perform regular deposits.

• Key in invoices with attention to detail.

• Generate billing statements on a regular schedule.

• Run aging reports to track overdue accounts.

• Follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments.

• Utilize the Acumatica software for various duties.

• Assist in maintaining an organized accounting system.

• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

• Act as a point of contact for accounts receivable inquiries.

This role requires skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) and a strong understanding of general accounting procedures. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Proven ability to handle high volumes of invoices and billing

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles

• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple accounts

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role is a plus
