National Account Brand Executive - Sanofi Consumer Healthcare/FMCG - Reading (Berkshire) - Hybrid Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a National Account Executive. where you will support the Senior National Account Manager to deliver ambitious and exciting growth plans across the UK Drug & Pharmacy channel.

You will be key in ensuring that we deliver our commercial partnership agenda with retail and pharmacy partners including Boots and Superdrug. You will be a key day to day contact for our customers and will ensure our levels of contact availability make us easy to reach and enjoyable to work with. You will be responsible for helping shape and deliver successful JBPs and promotional strategies as well as managing account budgets and investment.

Starting off as a National Account Executive, you'll be developing a sound foundation in all commercial aspects of the business - getting to know the brands, customers and supporting processes. Interpreting data will be key and presenting this to internal stakeholders will be a key part of the role. As your knowledge of the products and business grows, you'll soon be tasked with taking on your first accounts. We are looking for an individual who will help grow the different brands with new ideas and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Our Team:

Sanofi’s UK OTC medicines portfolio is focused on four leading brands; Allevia, Buscopan, Cialis Together and Dulcolax. We are a fast-paced, agile team driven to improve the self-care treatments available to consumers. Main responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customer contacts including buyer, online, media and supply teams

  • Sales administration: new line set up, product maintenance, promotion nomination and invoice processing

  • Manage internal and external reporting on customer activation plans, trade spend, forecasting, sales and availability

  • Provide regular reporting on activity in market across our brands and competitor brands

  • Deliver against sales and investment targets in agreed accounts

  • Participate in cross functional project work as required

About you

To excel in this role you will need to have:

  • 1-2+ years’ experience working with major UK key accounts

  • An interest to work with drug retailers and pharmacy partners including Boots and Superdrug

  • An intermediate knowledge of Excel; numerate, with good attention to detail

  • Effective written and spoken communicator (in English)

  • Willingness to travel within the UK for customer meetings including some overnight stays

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with high levels of autonomy

  • Proactive approach and strive for continuous personal and business improvement

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across different teams
