Daimler Truck Financial Services Data Scientist in Redford, Michigan
Analyze and solve data problems and produce insights to complex business problems through data by translating organizational problem statements into actionable decision making practices. Support a team for structuring data and text, deriving patterns, applying models and interpreting the output. Work with business partners to understand problem statement and document process maps. Work in team with other data scientist to generate hypothesis, rigorously working to prove or disprove and provide a comprehensive analytic report on problems at hand. Analyze data systems and document data flow. Participate in the retrieval, integration and preparation of data for analysis and visualization. Perform in-depth data qualitative analysis and ad hoc statistical analyses. Communicate the analytics results. Evaluating emerging analytics techniques, tools and methodologies to ensure a continued high level of technical competency. Develop internal standards and templates for data science to be used across analytics team. Support data visualization, data governance and release process for data science and visualization. Research and build tools to automate data collection and model development. Support data visualization, data governance and release process for data science and visualization.
