Job description:
Capgemini is looking for Power Validation engineer having strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and fundamental power circuit validation concepts. Ability to define, create electrical test plan to validate the complete power sub-system of a product. Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis techniques for power supply circuit issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Experience in electrical circuit testing to validate electrical parameters of power supply design including DC-DC converters, multi-phase regulators, LED/Display backlight drivers, Battery chargers etc.
• Experience in VR Testing including SMPS, LDO, LDSW in battery operated system.
• Experience in VR measurement including Line-Load Regulation, Noise, Ripple, Efficiency, OCP, OVLO, Static Load and Transient Load Testing.
• Experience in Point-of-Load (POL) Testing.
• Experience in Power Design validation for consumer electronics products including Battery-operated devices.
• Proficiency in using Hardware design validation equipment such as Mixed Signal Oscilloscope, DC Power Analyzer, Electronic Load, DMM and DC power supplies.
• Ability to define, create electrical test plan to validate the complete power sub-system of a product.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis techniques for power supply circuit issues.
Required Skills:
• Performing PDN measurements, Power Validation of high-speed boards
• PDN, Power Validation, Test equipment usage
