Communications Specialist 2 BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Communications Specialist 2 for an opportunity in Redmond, WA Position Title: Communications Specialist 2 Location: Redmond WA, Remote Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 12 Months Contract Job Type: Contract and Hybrid Pay Range: $20/hr. - $25/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirements: * 3-5 years of experience Ability to shift Priority quickly * 3-5 years of Strategic outlook and experience * 3-5 years of Ability to communicate with people of all different levels internally and externally with stakeholders and team members. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development: * Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies tailored to the internal Global Supply Chain organization, the broader Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization, and external suppliers and partners. * Ensure alignment of all communication efforts with the overall business strategy and objectives of the data center and supply chain operations. Internal Communications: * Create and execute internal communication plans to keep the Global Supply Chain team informed about operations, updates, and changes. * Develop and distribute regular newsletters, bulletins, and internal reports. * Maintain and update the supply chain team's intranet pages with relevant information, news, and resources. * Organize and facilitate team meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items. * Prepare and present communication materials for internal briefings. Broader CO+I Organization Communications: * Develop strategies to communicate key supply chain updates and initiatives to the broader CO+I organization. * Create content for CO+I internal newsletters, presentations, and reports to ensure alignment and transparency across teams. External Communications with Suppliers and Partners: * Manage communications with external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and partners. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external contacts to ensure smooth supply chain operations. * Create and execute crisis communication plans in response to supply chain disruptions or emergencies. Project Management: * Lead and manage communication projects related to supply chain initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery. * Implement and manage collaboration tools and platforms to enhance communication and information sharing among the global team. * Collect feedback from team members and stakeholders to continuously improve communication effectiveness. Analytical Roles: * Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns. * Prepare regular reports on communication activities and outcomes for senior management. Soft Skills: * Foster a positive and collaborative communication culture within the team. * Address and resolve communication-related issues and challenges efficiently. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within a supply chain or technology environment. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneous To view the full job description,
