Microsoft Corporation Senior Supply Chain Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

Supply Chain Operations Management (SCOM) organization within CSCP manages manufacturing operations and fulfilment with the external supply chain partners. Well-defined and executed sourcing and supply chain management strategies ensures predictable on-time performance, optimized for cost, prevents urgent unplanned investments and provides accurate, timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. The role of Senior Supply Chain Program Manager will be responsible for driving cross-functional projects and business initiatives for Supply Chain Operations Team (SCOM) and Cloud Manufacturing and Fulfilment (CMOF).

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be reporting to the GM of Azure Cloud Supply Chain Operations Management (SCOM), and will work closely with the Leadership Team (LT) to drive rhythm of business (ROB), business accountability, resource and budget management. In this role you will also be assigned to key projects that support business initiatives; the primary focus will be on process improvements driving operational excellence.

  • Drive the execution of the rhythm of business (ROB) including business reviews, planning processes, resource management, budget forecasting, staff meetings, cross-organizational business reporting, etc. to help the business run smoothly and effectively

  • Lead and orchestrate planning and fiscal year priorities process in partnership with the leadership team

  • Prepare content to support all hands and related material to represent SCOM

  • Drive cross-functional process improvement initiatives with key stakeholders

  • Drive projects and workstreams for assigned strategic initiatives

  • Represent SCOM leadership team in various forums and work with the teams on actions and deliverables

  • Interface with demand planning, deployment, sourcing, logistics, data center operations and engineering to build processes, drive optimization, garner supply chain efficiencies and improve delivery performance

  • Lead key strategic initiatives for the organization along with a project team / cross functional team

  • Collection, synthesis, and communication of analytics and insights to drive strategies and decision making for executives

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 7+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 3+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 9+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 6+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experienceo OR equivalent experience.

Supply Planning IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
