UX Designer BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated UX Designer remote opportunity. Position Title: UX Designer Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Full time Contract Pay Range: $50 to $55 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirements: Job Description: Title: UX/UI Developer Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months Summary: The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through an understanding of end-user needs. Job Responsibilities: * Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers' business problem/goals. * Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints * Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met * Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design * Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications Skills: * Experience in software design and development * Experience in professional UI development * Experience with data-driven UI development * Strong communication and problem-solving skills Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred. * 5-7 years' experience required Candidate Requirements * Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role. * Disqualifiers: When the sponsor reviews the portfolio, he will look for how they story tell. * Best vs. Average: Understanding what is needed in this role, other industry is fine, must be able to story tell and talk about their work like this is what we did, and this is the result. * Performance Indicators: Quality of work, meeting deadlines, and must be able to collaborate.
