The overall scope of the role is to carry out servicing and repairs to customer and company owned equipment with a focus on elevated work platforms and telehandlers in the field and workshop as required.
Carry out inspections, servicing and repairs of equipment with a focus on elevating work platforms, telehandlers and lighting towers
When attending to customer’s sites make every effort to repair machines on site limiting the need to transport the machines off site
Be available to travel including overnight accommodation when requested
Responsible for completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by JLG policy, Australian Standards and customer and/or site requirements
Must be available to work in the workshop at times when no field service jobs are available
Responsible for notifying the Field Service Coordinator if repairs or services can’t be completed during visit and the reason why
As a Field Service Technician you are also required to carry out general duties from time to time as requested by the Branch Manager
