CACI's Mastodon Design team in Rochester, NY is looking to hire a Field Service Engineer to join their team. Mastodon Design specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers’ next requirement. We focus on offering devices that can be fielded immediately to meet the mission needs that lie directly ahead. Size, weight, power, and packaging are of paramount importance in everything we design and build. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide these solutions in specialized electronic/mechanical design, embedded & application-level software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals and communications systems.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel within the

  • Army SIGINT / EW community representing Mastodon product portfolio

  • Provide dedicated field support to Army Program of Record (POR)

More About the Role

  • Primary customer liaison to end user community specific to Army Program of Record

  • Up to 50% travel mostly CONUS (some OCONUS will be necessary but very infrequent)

  • Responsible for managing and resolving customer concerns and issues related to the POR SIGINT/EW systems

  • Coordinate with Program Management to drive technical insertion opportunities that enhancing the value and usability of the POR system through close customer interactions analysis of customer mission

  • Maintain diligent mobile phone, text, and email communication with internal company chain of command and customer chain of command.

  • Work directly with US Army SIGINT and EW personnel in hands-on configuration, operations, inventory, integration with C2 systems, and troubleshooting of Mastodon sensor systems to include application of those systems in support of US Army missions.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • 7 years of operational experience operating SIGINT/EW systems in an operational environment

  • An active TS/SCI clearance

  • Detailed understanding of Electronic Warfare operations in all domains

  • Detailed understanding of RF fundamentals, including but not limited to, propagation, detectability, and direction finding

  • Ability to interact with the customer to understand the requirements of that customer and translate those to a Mastodon engineering requirement

  • Ability to travel on short notice to support customer engagements and product demonstrations

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with RF tactical communication systems, applications, and wireless networking.

  • Ability to deliver equipment-oriented training, when required, to US Army EW personnel.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-stakes environment

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
