Job Description Summary

As a member of the Site Quality Team you will be an active contributor to the QA, QC performance at site. This role will require you to support the implementation of the Construction & Commissioning Quality Management System at site.

This is a fix term contract role however tenure may extend as per future need.

Job Description

Your Role:

• Ensure site documentation is generated, distributed, updated, and archived in accordance with the Construction & Commissioning Management system requirements.

• Ensure that the FQPs (Field Quality Plans) and any erection documentation (isometrics, procedures, etc.) provided by GE are effectively communicated to the site management team and the contractors.

• Ensure that Quality Control processes are fully implemented and continuously monitored.

• Ensure that inspection / testing during erection and Commissioning are conducted, documented, checked, and validated as per the FQPS.

• Participate / supervise acceptance testing and/or approval by customers, third parties and governmental authorities whenever required.

• Ensure that the final QA/QC documentation is continuously compiled by the Subcontractors and the involved GE site team in accordance with GE and client requirements for final hand-over.

• Ensure that the NCR (Non-Conformance Report) System is fully deployed at site.

• Carry out internal and contractor quality audits as per the Site Quality audit program.

• Provide Quality induction training to the site personnel.

• Any other tasks assigned by the Site Quality Manager.

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline with experience in Quality on construction site.

• Qualification and/or experience in Welding inspection and Non-Destructive Tests.

Desired Characteristics

• 5-year construction site experience.

• Knowledge and experience on construction codes / standards.

• Good Written & verbal communication skill
