BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina Certero Sr. Asset Management Analyst in Remote, North Carolina

Job Description

The Certero Sr. Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the life cycle planning of corporate assets through asset selection, operation, refresh, migration, optimization, retirement and disposal; including building, technology, software, furniture, fixtures and/or equipment assets.

  • Independently perform the analysis, design and development of high volume, low latency applications for mission critical systems delivering high-availability and performance to best meet customer needs.

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code to support varied and more complex IT solutions

  • Provide strong technical expertise and collaborate with other IT specialists to rapidly develop and deliver stunning solutions that meet changing business needs.

  • Perform all necessary discovery and fact finding to fully understand more complex business problems and opportunities and independently execute all assignments.

  • Evaluate options and make solution buy vs. build recommendations to management when requested.

  • Analyze and recommend solutions to development and production issues while effectively communicating to the project team, applicable vendors and/or the manager in a timely manner.

  • Research and stay abreast of technology trends and IT best practices, with a focus on continuous learning and possible application to the business.

  • Provide direction and assistance to less experienced team members.

  • Optimize the cost, risk and value of assets throughout the life cycle through the analysis of data including: efficiencies, utilization, maintenance support and best practices.

  • Evaluate, select and implement Asset Management tools providing a unified view of all software and hardware assets, license entitlements and application usage metrics.

  • Design, develop and generate Asset Management metrics and reports to analyze, communicate and monitor compliance, liability, risk and financial data.

  • Assess the age and condition of all assets with a view to optimizing their refresh or replacement to minimize risk and cost, while maximizing business value.

  • Engage with Finance and Procurement to review and validate annual asset support and maintenance budgets and asset-related detail in business cases and project budgets.

Hiring Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)

  • 5+ years of experience in related field.

  • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Understanding of license agreements, subscriptions, publishers and contract interpretation.

Salary Range

$100,500.00 - $182,700.00
