The IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for:

• Maintaining records, databases, and systems containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software.

• Collecting, updating, and providing reports on hardware and software assets.

• Documenting asset compliance through tracking audits and purchasing records.

• Adhering, communicating, and helping enforce software and hardware policies and standards.

• Working with IT Financial Management and IT Procurement Analysts to control expenses and stay within budget.

• Working with leadership to drive continuous improvement efforts in overall Asset and Procurement management.

• Leading the management and tracking of software license and hardware maintenance agreements.

• Assisting in the development and managing the execution of initiatives as directed by the IT Asset Manager.

• Assisting technology refresh projects and assisting in the management of the loaner laptop program.

• Defining and managing applicable hardware and software asset processes.

• Assisting in the development and maintenance of the IT procurement and financial processes reviews as they relate to the asset management processes.

• Suggesting process and policy enhancements to be approved by Asset & Financial Management Forum and/or management.

• Transferring knowledge to existing staff and providing backup support for regional asset management positions.

The ideal candidate:

• Excellent knowledge of the English language (C1 upwards);

• 3+ years of experience within an IT Department with prior experience in asset management;

• Bachelor's degree in an IT field;

• Strong understanding of enterprise-level software agreements, and contracts;

• Extensive knowledge of industry best practices in Asset Management Lifecycle processes.
