Leidos Senior Cyber Security Innovation Strategist in Remote, United States

Description

Leidos’s Office of Technology, Digital Modernization Sector team currently has an immediate opening for an Senior Cyber Security Innovation Strategist. In this position, you will architect and design cyber security solutions in support of federal civilian agencies and Department of Defense (DoD) customers in the U.S. and worldwide.

Position Summary

You will work closely with business development, internal research & development (IRAD) and other subject matter expert (SME) staff to support new business development, including pre-proposal capture support and proposal development. You will help prospective customers and partners understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical features and transformation strategies and engage in demonstrations. Additionally, your responsibilities could include supporting IRAD projects to develop mission focused solutions and delivering technical innovations for existing customers. Opportunities may require up to 25% domestic travel as needed to support customer meetings, attend conferences and work onsite with proposal teams. Candidates should either possess or be capable of obtaining a DoD Clearance at Top Secret level.

Primary Responsibilities

•Develop innovation cyber security solutions to protect networks and data for federal government customers.

•Provide technical leadership for delivering an innovative product, service or, at higher levels, a combination of products and services that address a customer's specific objectives and requirements

•Stay up-to-date on evolving cyber security practices and federal industry standards and mandates.

•Support business development and capture teams to identify, quality, and pursue opportunities

•Lead and develop innovative solutions in support of capture, proposal, and program efforts, to include evaluating tradeoffs of solutions against cost, schedule, function, quality, and other evaluation criteria

•Support capture strategy development through technical leadership, including the creation and marketing of discriminating value propositions

•Support program management and business development reviews and assist in improving technical performance on existing programs as required

•Interact with clients in combination with business development, capture and operations teams

•Create white papers, presentations, demonstrations and briefings that convey technical thought leadership and differentiated features in response to customer needs

Basic Qualifications

•Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM discipline with 15+ years’ of experience. Additional years experience my be used in lieu of a Master’s degree.

•Must have 10+ years supporting Federal Civilian agencies with cyber security operations.

•Experience as a technical leader on government contracts. Experience should include both offensive and defensive cyber operations.

•Awareness of leading technology capability providers that enhance our technical solutions

•Experience as a solution architect and/or technical volume lead on captures and proposals

•Experience articulating complex technical concepts to customers, business development, program delivery, technical teams, and executives, both orally and in writing

•8570 IASAE II certification (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP)

•Experience with MITRE ATT&CK

•Senior Cybersecurity Architect with strong written and verbal communication skills

•US citizen with an active TS and eligibility for an SCI

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience having worked successful partnerships with suppliers on proposals

•Understanding of competitor/teammate technology offerings

•Record of attracting and retaining technical professionals

•Record of generating business growth through insertion of innovation and technology on existing programs

•Experience w/ DoD and DISA and Federal Civilian Networks

•Experience in federal government threat hunt teams, especially DHS or DOD

•Strong project management skills

•Experience developing cyber security strategies

•CISSP Certification

•Knowledge of latest federal policies impacting the FCEB, SLTT, and 16 Critical Infrastructure sectors to include (OMB, PDD, EO, etc)

•Proficient discussion cyber security policy as the architecture level

•Demonstrated experience triaging and responding to APT activities

•Demonstrated experience planning and executing threat hunt missions

Pay Range:

Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00
