Providence St. Joseph Health Grants Program Officer *Remote, .5 Part Time* in Renton, Washington

Description Grants Program Officer - Remote, .5 Part Time Candidate residing in AK, WA, MT, OR, CA or TX are encouraged to apply.* In 2020, Providence allocated a $50m fund aimed at reducing health inequities for patients, health plan and community members. In alignment with the 2024-2026 Health Equity strategic plan, we are seeking a self-driving and experienced grants and finance professional to aid in the management of its $50M grant portfolio. This position will be responsible for grant making and at-large grants administration and will work closely with the program and operations teams. The Grants Program Officer reports to the Director, Strategic Partnerships & Initiatives, Health Equity & Medicaid, and will serve as a thought partner and collaborator in translating strategy to effective grants practice. Additionally, the Grants Program Officer will interface directly with other health equity leadership, internal and external partners, and grantees. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field 5 years Experience working with nonprofits, foundations or public-sector agencies with a grantmaking or subcontracting function Experience managing and augmenting a grants management system (Salesforce/FoundationConnect platform a plus). Experience handling sensitive information.
