Job Description
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format , with time onsite and remote .
Because of the in-office requirements for this role, the selected individual must either currently reside in , or be willing to relocate to, the following metro areas where we have offices: Nashua, NH; Reston, VA; Wayne, NJ; Greenlawn, NY; Ft. As an International Trade Compliance Import/Export Analyst , you will work with customers to shape and close international business opportunities in concert with internal objectives. Job function includes:
Individual must have a strong knowledge of the current Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Familiar with multiple categories within ITAR and EAR, along with 500 and 600 series. Individual will be responsible for administration of ITAR and EAR license applications and agreements, exemptions, and exceptions. Coordinate Export and Imports shipments in accordance with BAE Systems policy and U.S. Government export regulations and laws.
Prepares, submits and administers export license applications, technical assistance agreements, and other authorizations. Ensures compliance with approved authorizations.
Coordinates with program personnel to obtain export/import application information, review provisos/riders on licenses and agreements to ensure business and customer requirements can be met by the license or agreement.
Approves foreign travel and foreign visitors.
Participates in the investigation of any aspect of proposed export, temporary export, or temporary import by the Company to verify the legality of any transactions and the accuracy of the information.
Participates in the development and presentation of export related training materials.
Provides BAE Systems and/or government agencies with any required assistance or information needed during the review of license application.
Maintains export related record keeping functions for the Company as required by law.
Participates in conducting internal compliance audits on a periodic basis.
Maintains export licensing records in OCR EASE and/or other databases used for storing and tracking BAE Systems export licensing history and other reviews/approvals. When requested, prepares and distributes periodic reports on licensing status for use by Company personnel.
Applicant must be detail oriented, have good writing skills, and have good organization/communication skills.
Position to include air travel to various export conferences and required training.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Four year experience in related field, Bachelors Degree in related field with 2 years of related experience, or Masters Degree
Applicant must be detail oriented, have good writing skills, and have good organization/communication skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with ITAR/EAR
Experience with OCR, EASE, Global Trade Management Software
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
