Description We are seeking a Software Developer to join our team in Reston, Virginia. This role involves leveraging your expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Azure SQL Database, and Microsoft Azure to create functional and technical requirements based on user interviews. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with team members to understand processes, pain points, and propose solutions that align with the company's interests.

• Translate functional requirements into technical requirements for software development.

• Participate in Scrum process to implement solutions in an agile manner.

• Create and manage user stories and tasks that break down technical requirements.

• Estimate Level of Effort (LOE) for tasks and provide daily status updates and identify roadblocks.

• Work collaboratively with a team of analysts, BI engineers, infrastructure engineers, InfoSec, and other IT experts to execute tasks.

• Utilize languages such as .NET - Core, Framework, Python, JavaScript (Angular, React, Vue), and databases like SQL, mongo, cosmos.

• Leverage Azure's services such as Web Apps, Containers, Storage, OpenAI, and Cognitive Services. Requirements • Proficient in Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and application

• Proficiency in using Azure SQL Database for data management and operations

• Experience in deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure

• Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug code effectively

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards deadlines

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
