Northrop Grumman is seeking an Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) trainer and training developer to support Intelligence Collectors and Analysts for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). The candidate will instruct students in the collection and exploitation of Publicly Available Information (PAI) via the use of OSINT tools and through the exploitation of social media and publicly accessible databases. They will instruct students in the gathering, synthesis, and analysis of open-source intelligence information in support of objectives related to force protection, counterterrorism, counternarcotic, and other areas of the DIA mission. As a training developer, the candidate will assist in designing and delivering programs to train all levels of personnel. If selected they will need to keep abreast of modern training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. They will also be required to develop in-house programs and practices that identify developmental needs, create solutions to address them, and be responsible for developing and delivering e-learning programs. The candidate will develop tests and visual aids, conduct training classes, and create criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. If selected, you will be working in a critical and fast-moving position that is setting the standard for OSINT across the Intelligence Community. This position will require travel up to 50% and is located in Reston, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 9 years' experience or a Master's degree and 7 experience

• Graduate of U.S. Army OSINT Training courses (e.g., OBC, OS301/OS302, CASO)

• Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a CI poly

• Experience utilizing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) training products

• Familiar with OSINT planning, collection, analysis, and the exploitation of PAI

• Prior military or government analytical training (e.g., OSINT, All Source, SIGINT, HUMINT or GEOINT)

• Familiar with Adult Learning Theory

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience conducting Intelligence Analytical support for the DoD

• Experience utilizing OSINT tools which include but are not limited to the Berber Hunter Tool Kit applications (e.g., SILO, SCRAAWL, DataMinr, and Babel Street).

• Experience delivering adult training/education in a blended learning environment

• Experience and knowledge of the ADDIE systems design framework, Bloom's taxonomy model, and Kirkpatrick's evaluation mode

Salary Range: $120,900 - $181,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
