The Big Picture:

Howden Reciprocating and Centrifugal compressors (HCR), is a specialist supplier of tailor-made gas compression equipment to various industries. Our products have made a valuable difference for our clients for the past 100 years, and we are now looking for a Mechanic Compressor Assembly (B) who will join our Assembly team and will support in making a valuable difference in the century to come. The purpose of the role is to build compressors skids with attention to assemble compressors, install piping on skids, construction of small tubing and/or electrical installations and instrumentation with connections on packages, machines, oil and cooling water systems.

What needs to be done?

• Assemble compressor components to build a compressor on the skid with coolers and dampers.

• Connect the piping, tubing and cables, and prepare a compressor for testing.

• Disassemble the compressor for packing and shipment.

• Support the work process and take actions for improvements.

• Work in 2-shifts (early and late).

What do you need to bring?

• Technical knowledge on MBO level based on education and/or experience.

• Knowledge of packaging compressor / skids and reading, understanding drawings and diagrams.

• Measuring and adjusting tools and the accuracy within which to work.

• Drive forklift, safe hoisting and working on height.

• Operation of the hand, hydraulic and measuring tools and various machines.

• Be pro-active in improvement initiatives.

• Team player, responsible, loyal and a self-starter.

• Safety, health and environmental awareness.

• English language skills, both verbal and written.
