We are seeking aQuality Control Technicianfor our Rhome, TX facility to carry out various tasks, including but not limited to, assessing and verifying that products meet certain set standards, and maintaining quality processes and policies to ensure legal, regulatory compliance and expectations of the customers are met.

Reports To

Regional Quality and Compliance Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping in the assessment of the product to meet required specifications in reviewing test results, determining the next process for the product, and releasing the product to production.
  • Ensuring that all product meets legal regulatory compliance, A-Gas policies and procedures, and customer requirements
  • Assisting in implementing performance and quality improvement for each product line and process
  • Aiding in training production staff in standard operating procedures and maintaining proper records for regulatory compliance
  • Collating data and preparing reports, graphs, and charts
  • Helping with daily clerical and administrative tasks, such as typing letters, sending emails, and filing
  • Keep proper documentation of the product assessment results and processes
  • Ensure proper documentation of product assessment results and processes is obtained
  • Certificates of Analysis and Compliance are provided as required
  • Support and follow Health and Safety procedures
  • Assisting in customer and supplier audits
  • Perform root cause investigations and provide corrective action reports for all quality business improvement reports (BIR's)
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

Essential

  • High school diploma required
  • Computer literate, and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with process mapping and writing work instructions
  • Previous experience in quality is preferred
  • Previous experience in the specialty chemical industry is preferred

The targeted pay is from $20.00 and up an hour, based on the candidate's experience.
