salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize efficiency.
Coordinate production activities with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and quality assurance.
Ensure products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement and monitor quality control programs and procedures.
Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
Utilize lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
Recruit, train, and supervise production staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities.
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of materials.
Manage storage and distribution of finished goods.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP, FDA, and other relevant standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
Implement and enforce health and safety policies.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 4 hours at one time
working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
