As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to join our team and lead our production operations to new heights

salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize efficiency.

  • Coordinate production activities with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and quality assurance.

  • Ensure products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement and monitor quality control programs and procedures.

  • Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.

  • Utilize lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise production staff.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities.

  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.

  • Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of materials.

  • Manage storage and distribution of finished goods.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP, FDA, and other relevant standards.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment

  • wearing steel toe shoes

  • manual lifting up to 50lbs

  • standing for 4 hours at one time

  • working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
