Sales Team Manager, Events - World Travel Market (WTM) Events

About the Role

As Sales Team Manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and managing the sales team. You will support development and execution of strategic sales plans, drive stretch revenue growth, and maximize sales opportunities. You coach a team of sales professionals, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and building lasting relationships with clients and industry partners.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerating the commercial performance of your team. You will work with the Portfolio Head of Sales to build and execute strategic sales plans to exceed your targeted revenues across all product lines.

  • Thinking critically, and quickly identifying revenue opportunities on a tactical basis. Using data as your primary indicator, you will measure performance against expectation.

  • Managing, motivating, and developing a high-performing sales team. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their potential and drive exceptional performance.

  • Seeking opportunities to try new and different solutions and bring plans to life both within your team and cross functionally.

  • Identifying training needs and taking ownership to deliver the improvements required

  • Building and nurturing a successful network of advocates with key clients, industry associations, and other strategic partners.

Requirements

  • Possess a proven track record of leading and developing successful sales teams

  • Be able to manage a complex sales pipeline. Accurately review and forecast performance, market trends and risks.

  • Have experience mentoring sales professionals. Leading in areas without authority by supporting and promoting sales excellence through a consistent approach to core skills practice and training.

  • Monitor market trends and customer feedback to drive innovation, inform sales strategies and tactics.

  • Demonstrate expertise in delivering best in class exhibitions. You will stay ahead of future trends and emerging technologies, and be able to successfully represent RX Global at industry events

  • Be able to travel XX %
