Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst with strong FP& A experience! This role involves financial planning and analysis, forecasting, modeling, accounting consolidation, and financial reporting. The position also requires proficiency in various advanced Excel functions and the use of SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake financial planning and analysis to support business decisions

• Conduct forecasting and modeling to predict future business trends

• Coordinate accounting consolidation activities to ensure accuracy in financial records

• Participate in month-end activities, ensuring timely completion and accuracy

• Handle manufacturing cost accounting tasks

• Prepare and present detailed financial reports for management's review

• Assist with the migration of the manufacturing system to SAP

• Ensure the reconciliation of accounts and accuracy of journal entries

• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring it accurately reflects the company's financial transactions

• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting

• Experience with commodities

• Proficient in Financial Reporting

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge and experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

• Familiarity with SAP Fieldglass and SAP software

• Account Reconciliation skills

• Proficiency in preparing Journal Entries and Adjusting Journal Entries

• Solid understanding of General Ledger procedures

• Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
