ManpowerGroup Sr. IT Production Specialist in Richmond, Virginia

Sr. IT Production Specialist (Remote/Contract)

Contract: 1+yrs

Duration: 1 year

Primary Purpose: To lead the flow of production system and process; to ensure production application and processes are executing as designed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Researches and resolves complex technical problems or data discrepancies reported by clients.

  • Responsible for maintaining and upgrading corporate systems.

  • Acts as client support by identifying and responding to technical and non-technical issues or questions from internal and external customers.

  • Gathers data for the client, documenting the overall system and how it works.

  • Works with development staff on creating and implementing production schedules.

  • Reviews and maintains updated user documentation as needed.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

Qualifications:

Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Specific Experience:

  • Four (4) years' experience with IBM Sterling B2Bi/PCM required.

  • Two (2) years’ experience with Tidal TWA application experience preferred.

  • Two (2) years' experience with AIX, Linux Server, and SFTP Server, and two (2) years' experience in Unix scripting and maintaining scheduled services preferred.

  • Two (2) years customer service experience in claims management or insurance environment preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • 4 years' experience with IBM Sterling B2Bi/PCM required.

  • 2 years’ experience with Tidal TWA preferred.

  • 2 years' experience with Progress Messageway preferred.

  • 2 years' experience UNIX/Linux administration/navigational knowledge preferred.

  • 2 years' experience UNIX SFTP and FTP server administration preferred.

  • 2 years' experience working out of a ticket queue with defined SLAs required.

  • 1 year experience with SQL queries in Oracle and MS SQL preferred.

  • Ability to maintain scheduled jobs in high data flow environment.

  • Knowledge of file encryption software (PGP & GPG).

  • Ability to work effectively in a high change environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.

  • Analytical and interpretive skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate, and constructive written reports.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
