Construction Project Coordinator

Redwood Materials is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Infrastructure Development team. These roles are at the center of our activities focused on creating a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries by transforming recycled materials into battery materials for new lithium-ionbattery production.

The Project Coordinator for the construction and engineering (EPC) organization will support various manufacturing projects. The primary objective of this role is to support the construction and engineering teams through management of the EPCs project administration. Ideal candidates must possess excellent communication and planning skills, sound judgment, creative problem-solving abilities, have a strong quality and customer-focused mindset, have the personal drive and stamina for relentlessness, and the ability to quickly adapt to change, along with a strong connection to Redwood Materials mission.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Construction Documentation/Administration Phases tasks include file sharing, print coordination, logging RFIs and submittals, QA/QC documents stamping and coordination.
  • Managing the permitting with the relative agencies through all phases of project execution.
  • Project Close-Out tasks include dead filing and punch list tracking.
  • Managing the construction invoicing and interfacing with accounts receivable to ensure adequate tracking of budget and costs.
  • Maintain and assist in driving productive meetings across project teams, providing, and following up with action items daily.
  • Lead initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects while mitigating risk and variability.
  • Create and develop status reports and summaries for executive management in conjunction with project leads.
  • Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the program goals.
  • Develop tools that enable efficient operations maximizing the teams time spent on solving problems.
