Description We are offering employment opportunity for a QuickBooks Bookkeeper. This role is pivotal in a financial department, with a primary focus on processing various financial data, maintaining accurate records, and performing bookkeeping services. The individual will be expected to operate within a fast-paced work environment and utilize their strong organizational skills to contribute to the company's financial objectives. Requirements Responsibilities: • Process and maintain various financial data as assigned • Utilize accounting software to record, store, and analyze information • Ensure figures, postings, and documents are correctly entered, mathematically accurate, and properly coded • Adhere to federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations • Handle cash, checks, and vouchers, ensuring they are recorded and banked accurately • Code documents in accordance with company procedures • Conduct financial calculations such as amounts due, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity, and principal • Reconcile or report discrepancies found in records • Carry out general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence • Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts • Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers • Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software • Match order forms with invoices, and record the necessary information • Perform daily clerical duties, such as pulling permits, answering phones, and filling out work order tickets. Requirements • Demonstrable proficiency in QuickBooks • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Capable of performing account and bank reconciliations • Familiarity with financial reporting and other standard accounting practices • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High level of integrity and trustworthiness • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred • Previous experience in a bookkeeping role would be advantageous.
