Allegheny Envelope Converting Operator in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania
*General Objective of this Position: *
This position is responsible to operate the Converting Machines to ensure that production standards and quality standards are being met.
Specific Functions of this Position:
Package completed material
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Make boxes in a sufficient quantity to handle produced materials
- Properly box completed material to avoid damage
- Check materials to ensure quality specifications are being met
- Tag or identify products
- Stack skids with product
- Move skids and shrink wrap product
Complete appropriate paperwork
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Ensure paperwork is accurate and fully completed
Workplace Safety
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Adhere to safety standards and participate in safety-related activities
- Report workplace accidents immediately
Attendance
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Report to work as scheduled or use appropriate call-in procedures for obtaining approval for time off
Other Responsibilities:
- Sweep floors
- Ability to read a ruler
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Perform other related duties as required
Education:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience:
- No experience or training-OTJ provided
