Vice President of Clinical Services

Job Summary:

You will provide leadership, oversight, and development to the Clinical Services division. As a member of an interdisciplinary team fulfilling the objectives of the SAMHSA Primary and Behavioral Health Care Integration Project, you will plan, direct, and oversee both clinical and administrative staff to ensure full provision of integrated and clinically sound services.

What You will Do:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, function and evaluation of assigned programs; promotes standards of excellence.

  • Provide direct supervision to assigned staff to enhance their skills sets, leadership qualities and administrative functions.

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with agency's policies, applicable laws and regulatory agencies.

  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Evaluate staff productivity and documentation of service delivery.

  • Assess and educate staff on community and internal resources for effective service provision, training resources and provides on-going education to managers and staff.

  • Assure students and volunteers receive required training.

  • Ensure assigned staff obtains and maintains credentials and competencies appropriate to assigned job responsibilities.

Other Essential Responsibilities:

  • Formulate Division's short and long-term goals; direct and coordinate activities of departments for which responsibility is delegated to further attainment of goals and objectives.

  • Monitor and maintain environmental services for assigned sites and/or department(s) to assure clean, safe, orderly, and attractive conditions of establishment.

  • Review and analyses activities, service provision, statistics, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine Division's progress toward stated goals and objectives.

  • Evaluate department(s) specific compliance with regulatory requirements and assures Division complies with Federal, State and County regulations and contracts.

  • Recognize and identify gaps in services and actively collaborates with the community and other provides to develop resolution.

  • Confer with President/CEO, Sr. Vice President, and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required goals and objectives resulting from current status and conditions.

  • Draft, maintain, and monitor financial budget/expenditures of departments and develops plans for increased revenue.

What We Need to See:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited learning institution.

  • A Professional and/or Clinical License (LPC or LCSW) as defined by the programmatic standards

  • A minimum of 5+ years of progressive responsibilities in clinical supervision and leadership

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience providing direct care services to individuals wih serious mental illness

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in program management, administrative amd supervisory experience.

  • A valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance?.
