Genesis10 Scrum Leader in Rochester, Minnesota

Genesis10 is seeking a Scrum Leader for a contract with our client in Rochester, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: Our client Scrum Leader will work in the Center for Digital Health, with the purpose of extending our agile expertise and helping deliver digital solutions and products to consumers, patients, and providers to improve their health journey. The Scrum Leader facilities workflows in a scrum environment, ensuring that members of the team follow through on their respective duties and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers. Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques. Collaborates with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering and Experience Design partners to ensure successful deliver. Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines. Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team. Works with the Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support the product teams. Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Leaders to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization. Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Leaders to grow within the role. Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization. Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. Required Basic Qualifications: Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles. Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills. Strong, demonstrated knowledge of Scrum and understanding of the software development life cycle. Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques. Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams. Strong interpersonal, networking, collaboration skills and cultural awareness. Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience navigating transformation in highly regulated industries is a plus. Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma. AND 4+ years relevant experience required. The work scope of a Scrum Guide involves promoting and supporting Scrum Agile practices by helping the team understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. Be a servant-leader for the Scrum Team Facilitating Scrum events Clearing obstacles Establishing an effective environment Addressing team dynamics Ensuring a good relationship between the team, product owner, and stakeholders Protecting the team from outside interruptions The Scrum Guide's role includes ensuring that all necessary work to achieve the Product Goal, such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, happens within Sprints. Help maintain the quality and integrity of the Sprint Goal Assist in refining the Product Backlog as needed Facilitate the clarification and renegotiation of scope with the Product Owner as more is learned The Scrum Guide will be part of a cross-functional team, which means they can work on whatever projects require attention during the next sprint, beyond just being experts in certain applications. Looking for someone familiar with utilize Azure DevOps for managing, tracking, and reporting on our Scrum activities, including User Story management, Tasks Management, Capacity Planning, Release Management, and reporting on work progress each sprint. Preferred experience using ServiceNow for incident, request, and change request ticket management. Familiarity using Clarity Time Recording for recording product and project time record ng. Familiarity with ITIL practices for IT services management that focuses on aligning IT Services with the needs of business. Preferred experience with client's Azure DevOps Projects Preferred experience with client's approach to Scrum Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience highly preferred. Will consider a HS diploma if the candidate is a rockstar. Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $75.00-$80.00 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
