Description

The Junior Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks and support the overall financial operations of the company. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, has strong analytical skills, and is passionate about pursuing a career in accounting. The Junior Accountant will work closely with senior accountants to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Perform data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Provide support to senior accountants and other departments as needed.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

  Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
