Medical Assistant
Responsibilities: - Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and medical procedures - Take patient vital signs and record medical history - Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers - Prepare patients for examinations and treatments - Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens - Provide patient education and instructions on medication and treatment plans - Assist with medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records - Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques - Experience in providing patient care in a hospital or clinical setting - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
