Ametek Inc. Pixelink - Regional Sales Manager in Rochester, New York

Pixelink, a leader in the design, manufacture, and support of digital cameras for industrial and life science applications, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our innovative sales team.

As a Regional Sales Manager at Pixelink, you will play a crucial role in supporting our existing customers and prospecting for new business opportunities. You will be responsible for selling our cutting-edge camera and imaging solutions to dealers, distributors, end-users, and OEMs. Your mission will be to identify, pursue, and close sales for all Pixelink product offerings and technology services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate growth: Prospecting for new business, exploring inbound opportunities, and expanding existing accounts.
  • Sales pipeline management: Build and manage an effective pipeline, executing each phase of the sales process.
  • Opportunity generation: Qualify, generate, and execute opportunities that deliver profitable revenue.
  • Product and Market Expertise: Use knowledge of our products, customer needs, and key competitors to uncover opportunities and create value-based solutions.
  • Consultative selling: Sell at all levels with a technical focus, using a consultative sales approach.
  • Travel: Meetings, appointments, and trade events (30%).


Requirements:

  • Experience in technical sales, customer development, and internal project management.
  • Consultative selling skills with the ability to ask strategic questions to discover customer needs.
  • Ability to learn and apply principles related to optical and vision systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working directly with multidisciplinary engineering teams to provide customer service solutions.
  • Experience in industrial cameras, machine vision, or microscopy is a nice to have

Compensation

Salary Minimum: $80, 000

Salary Maximum: $90, 000
