HCR Home Care Receptionist - Administrative Assistant - Fulltime M-F in Rochester, New York

Role and Responsibilities : Receptionist for front desk reception area of HCR’s Corporate Office .

Essential Functions

  • Create an exceptional first impression to all HCR visitors while ensuring HIPAA regulations and internal protocols are met.

  • Maintain a neat and organized reception area.

  • Answering and direct incoming agency phone calls.

  • Daily mail processing; inbound and outbound, includes mail sorting.

  • Assist Executive Office with preparing for meetings as needed

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Education Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED required .

    Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite .

  • Detail - oriented .

  • Experience in a professional office setting .

  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills .

    Work Environment

    The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is primarily in an office setting and may be exposed to outdoor conditions.

    The working conditions are classified as sedentary work:

  • Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
