Position Summary: The Renovation Turnover Technician is responsible for assisting with the turnover process of recently vacated apartments and residential units to prepare for new resident move-ins. Turnover includes but is not limited to painting, minor repairs, coordinating flooring requests, and punch list verification. Responsibilities include:
Assists Technician Specialist with the unit turnover process-including coordinating painting and floor covering replacement, ordering replacement appliances and fixtures and parts as needed.
Scheduling and maintaining business relationships with outside vendors and contractors.
Assists with conducting pre and post turnover inspections and working with the Turnover Team to assure all punch list items are complete.
Works with Building Services Coordinator to maintain timelines and release units.
Participate in weekly turnover meetings.
Assists with minor repairs to appliances, fixtures, lighting, electrical etc.
Assists with orders of parts, appliances and other equipment; confirming deliveries, tracking backorders, maintaining accurate maintenance records for upgrades and refurbishments.
Distribute and track keys and fobs for facility; make additional keys as needed.
Update and distribute Appliance Manuals as apartments are refurbished.
Attend in-service training and continuing education programs when appropriate.
Assist with property maintenance when needed including grounds.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Three years of experience in multiple community settings, supporting multiple employee departments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
Experience with basic accounting.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellence in customer and personal services.
