Adecco US, Inc. Sonographer in Rochester, New York

Job Summary:

Join our team to provide exceptional patient care through diagnostic and screening breast ultrasound procedures. Operate ultrasound equipment independently and collaborate with physicians for accurate diagnoses. Work harmoniously in our sonography department to ensure seamless patient experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Guide patients through procedures, alleviating concerns and gaining consent.

Conduct routine breast ultrasound exams, recording vital diagnostic information.

Align mammographic and MRI data with ultrasound findings.

Employ sound judgment to differentiate normal and pathological results.

Assist physicians in diagnostic procedures when necessary.

Manage ultrasound equipment during exams as required.

Primary shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm at our Brighton office, with potential work in satellite locations based on staffing needs.

Demonstrate autonomy in decision-making and workflow management.

Capable of lifting 50lbs and caring for non-ambulatory patients.

Qualifications and Skills:

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with clinical experience.

Registry eligibility upon graduation; ARDMS certification in specialty areas required within 6 months of hire.

Completion of training process within 6 months for independent work.

Stay updated with continuing education (30 CME's/3 years) and active ARDMS membership.

Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with EHR and PACS systems advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly rate: $28.00 - $39.00.
