University of Rochester Surgical Scheduler III in Rochester, New York
Responsibilities
General Purpose
Responsible for working with physician offices to schedule cases to be performed in a surgery center. Coordinates with materials management regarding required equipment and/or supplies needed for scheduled cases. Manages physician block time for maximum efficiency. Facilitates patient flow through the pre-operative process.
Knowledge & Experience
High School diploma and 2 years relevant experience required
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Medical Terminology, experiences with surgical/appointment scheduling software (such as Flowcast), and electronic medical records, preferred. Demonstrated customer relations skills. preferred

Pay Range
Pay Range: $19.08 - $25.77 Hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
