Job Description:

Westat is seeking Experienced Ed. Studies Data Entry Clerks to work on a national education study. The data entry clerk will type information from paper formats into an electronic database. The data entry clerk will need to verify that the data has been entered correctly. For this project, the data entry clerk will be extracting information from high school transcripts to be used in a national education study. This position is on-site at our Rockville, MD location.

Required Skills/Experience :

-Proven experience as Westat Ed. Studies data entry clerk

-Fast typing skills

-Computer literacy

-Attention to detail

-High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Duties/Responsibilities :

-Enter information from paper forms into an electronic data base.

-Verify the data has been entered correctly.

-Extract information from course catalogs to be used in a national study.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Knowledge of touch-typing system

These assignments are temporary hourly positions. Benefits are based on hours worked and tenure.
