BREWER SCIENCE INC Sales Manager in Rolla, Missouri

Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Sales Manager (level I or II). This position will be located Remote in the United States.

?Summary:

A Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales activities with a proven track record of sales performance and success. Sales Managers are expected to utilize their knowledge to identify, hunt, and qualify leads to uncover new sales opportunities that will lead to new product introductions, qualifications, and POR wins and build lasting relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

Sales Manager I

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's product portfolio and its applications.
  • Identify and engage potential and existing customers through cold calling, networking, industry events, conferences, trade shows, and direct contact.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact and providing high-quality service and support.
  • Understand customer needs, create tailored business proposals, and demonstrate the value of our solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows.
  • Research and target new customers, develop customer plans, and achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, using product knowledge and expertise to promote and sell the company's products.
  • Generate leads, qualify prospects, negotiate deals, and close opportunities to drive profitable growth.
  • Deliver regular and detailed reports on sales outcomes.
  • Maintain the forecasting system to monitor achievement of sales targets and manage own sales expenses to meet expense budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation, stay updated on industry news and customer information, conduct market research to capture customer needs, and utilize competitive analysis to demonstrate the company's value to prospective customers.
  • Implement the goals set by senior management and accomplish key corporate objectives.

Sales Manager II

  • Same duties as Sales Manager I.
  • Additional duties as Sales Manager II:
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the company's presence and enhance product offerings.
  • Mentor and support entry-level sales and account team members.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the technical aspects of chemical manufacturing.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and sales teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.
  • Analyze and evaluate market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Develop and implement improvement plans based on analysis.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets, utilize data analytics and CRM tools to track key performance metrics, and prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Identify revenue growth through the development of new business and retention of existing business
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Education and Credentials:

Sales Manager I

  • Bachelors degree in engineering chemistry, business, or related is preferred and 6+ years of sales experience, preferably in a high-tech or technical field such as in the semiconductor industry or
  • Masters degree in related field and 4+ years of sales experience or
  • PhD in related field and 2+ years of sales experience or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • *This is minimum criteria; level is determined by responsibility, scope, impact, etc.

Sales Manager II

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, chemistry, business, or related is preferred and 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in a high-tech or technical field such as in the semiconductor industry or
  • Masters degree in related field and 6+ years of sales experience or
  • PhD in related field and 4+ years of sales experience or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation:

This is a non-commission based position with compensation between $71,444 and$134,997annually. Salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
